La Pi >> Shar Wang

Very recently, my family has a new member.

Let me introduce.

Meet LA PI.

La Pi at 7 weeks old.

Isn't he a cute little fellow?

Actually, i haven't figured out a name for this little guy.

My dad wants to call him >> Chai Shen. God of Fortune. It sounded really hilarious and awkward so we decided not to call him that.

Imagine we are calling him : Chai Shen, lai. Come, god of fortune???

LOL...

For the time being, his name is La Pi. Pull Skin.

His dad is Shar Pi.

Ya, i know it's funny. But really, his dad's name is Shar Pi and he looks like his dad too.

La pi snores when he sleeps. It's actually quite loud.

He likes to playfully bite on anything. Shoes, pants, rags, slipper, your feet, your toes, your hands, your fingers, his tail ... ... anything he can lay his eyes on.

La Pi at 3 weeks old.

He looks so much older, don't u think?? ^_^

Dad likes to call him Old man.

When i first kidnapped him... When he first came to our house, he have 1 brother and 1 sister with him.

I brought 3 puppies back from Ni's house, just because they are so adorable that i wanted to keep them with me for a while.

After a week later, i gave the other 2 puppies away together coz their initial owner don't want them anymore. He just don't wanna come and get the puppies.

So i made the decision to give them away. Their new owner seems like a nice guy. I assume he's a dog lover too. He told me he have a golden retriever at home. I would like the think they are living well with their new owner.

As for La Pi, i just fell in love with him.

La Pi's first nite at our house. 3 weeks old.

My brother barricaded an area for them to move around. After a while, they all fell asleep in sitting position with their heads hanging onto the metal bar for support.

I had to take the photos in the dark without flash lights so they can continue sleeping in that position. lol...

La Pi at 3 weeks old

He was so small then. I can just carry him on one palm.

When the 3 of them were playing at the backyard, La Pi was always the slow one. Lagging behind. Couldn't find the direction. He would just make puppy whining cries to get someone help him cross the small drain at the backyard to get to the others.

He would just let them bit him, without biting back or pushing them away. He would just stand there and let his siblings bit him all over.

Sometimes, he would just sit there alone when his siblings were playing with each other.

La Pi at 5 weeks old.

He was too small for a proper dog strap so we chained him like that coz he just shit whenever he goes.

He looks very pity, right??

Well, don't get cheated by his deceitful face. lol...

Now he looks even more pitiful beside the dustbin.

It's nice to have a puppy around. He's like the baby of the family. Everyone takes turn to feed him. He eats at least 4 meals a day. Dog biscuits soaked in milk.

The biscuits are really really very tough to chew, plus, La Pi don't chew his food. He just swallow it whole, so i gotta let it soaks in the warm milk for it to soften everytime before i feed it to La Pi.

Last Wednesday, i brought him to Ni's house so that La Pi can play with other dogs.

La Pi 6 weeks old at Ni's house.

Looking pitiful again. He's so good at doing this.

I chained him at Ni's house coz he's too playful. Afraid he might wander out to the road side.

Most of the time, he just can't stop pestering others.

This is La Pi with Lily.

Lily
Breed: Rottweiler
Gender: Female
Age: 6 months

Lily is Ni's baby. He treats her so nice, he's treating her better than me. -_-

Lily was so excited to see La Pi.

In fact, she's the one who pestered La Pi all the time, until La Pi was so fedup, he hid under the car to avoid Lily.

At six months old, Lily is still considered a baby. It's just her size that's big.

Don't underestimate La Pi. Small as he is, he's so fierce to Lily that she actually retreat after he growled at her.

However, La Pi likes to pester Ginger.

Somehow, he likes to pester others who ignores him and ignores those who pester him. lol...

Ginger is my baby too.

Although she didn't grow up at my house or live with me, she's mine too.

When she was so small, i fed her everyday. Bathed her, blowed dry her, take her to the vet, plays with her, talks to her and even gave her a name.

She seems to know that, which is why i like her so much.

Back to La Pi.

My whole family believes that when he grows up one day, he'll be a very fierce dog.

Who knows?

P.S.: The decision is made. The lucky little fella will be officially called La Pi. ^_^

P.S.: My dad has second thoughts. After thinking for 2 week, he finally got the little fella a name he thinks best. SHAR WANG (an ex russian president or something long time ago, pronounced in chinese)
